Sexy Gift Guide Roundup

Well, I’m finally getting over my case of the bah humbugs, just in time to head to New England to celebrate the holidays. Not in time, however, to add anything to the discussion on sexy gift ideas. Gift-giving guides have been posting since November, and I feel a little bit late to the party. But that has never stopped me from sharing in the fun, and blacking out just like everyone else. I’ve compiled my favorite sexy gift guides that I’ve come across so far, in the hopes that they may help any dear readers who are as late as I am starting their holiday shopping.

Blog Roundup: Sexy Gift Ideas and Guides

The best place to start is the daily bedpost’s How To: Give a Sex-Related Gift. Em and Lo cover the basic etiquette for giving a sexy gift, including tips for couples and first-timers. Em & Lo also have a gift guide for the broke and horny that has sexy gift ideas for those on a budget.

John DeVore over at The Frisky promises to have a gift idea that will get you laid. I’m not going to back his guarantee, but I will say he does reveal how to make your gift special, no matter the price tag.

If you like your gift guides witty and well-written, then Violet Blue’sIt’s a Wonderful Orgasm” will deliver more than great, affordable sex toy and accessory ideas. Blue wraps her gift ideas like a present in the context of a familiar holiday tale.

If, like me, a good brie and bottle of wine can get you wet, then you will salivate over Amy Reiley’s aphrodisiac gift guide at Eat Something Sexy.

And if, like me, you think geeks are sexy, and are looking for the perfect way to turn on your nerd bird this holiday, check out the Geeks Are Sexy Guide. While Star Trek Remastered is not explicitly sexual to the untrained eye, geek lovers know exactly how to turn their mates on.

And if buying lingerie for your woman is as intimidating as disarming a nuclear weapon, then the Intimate Guide has the answer for you. They’ve selected sexy, flattering lingerie by personality (like seductive tomboy) and body type (pear-shaped) to ensure that your woman will look amazing in what you choose.

I’m sure that while I was still in cranky holiday mode I missed a few good gift guides, so feel free to post your favorite in the comments. I’ll definitely read them, because I’m still procrastinating on the shopping front.
