They say that there are two sides to every story, which is especially true when it comes to sex. Whoopie School is an attempt to tell the story of sex from a his-and-her perspective. Whoopie School provides sex tips and sex musings on all things sexual that are intended to be fun, practical, and sex-positive.

Meet the Writers

Holly Page grew up playing in her mom's lingerie, reading beauty magazines, and daydreaming of romance. She became the woman girlfriends turned to with their sexual anxieties ("I think I have two holes in my vagina"), darkest secrets ("I had sex with two guys last night, and neither of them know"), and deepest desires ("I want to learn to orgasm") because of her seeming wisdom, experience, and attitude of non-judgement.

Jason Stedman grew up desiring women in all their forms, watching internet porn, and building a stash of vintage Playboys. He was the guy friends turned to for stories of sexual adventure ("You slept with your art teacher?") and tales of romance ("You're moving in with her after two weeks?!") because of his willingness to be open about his feelings and sexuality.

It was a surprise, then, when Holly and Jason started dating in 2002, that they had so much to learn from each other. Whoopie School is the sum and continuing journey of all those learnings, in the hopes that others can benefit from our openness, silliness, and experimentation. Which isn't to say that it's all roses - Holly and Jason also face dry spells, boredom, and the occasional desire to roam. But there are lessons there, too. The couple began writing a "he said, she said" sex guide, and soon the website and blog developed from that original idea.

On a personal note, Holly and Jason share a love of martinis, all things pickled, the innanet, all kinds of music, and being in a fake band. Holly is an educator and writer; Jason is an SEO specialist and all-around geek. They recently lived a glamorous hipster life in the Mission District of San Francisco, but gave it all up for the space and quiet of Pennsylvania. Their two dogs are happier for it.
